Invest in Yourself

Quote from Warren Buffet

“Generally speaking, investing in yourself is the best thing you can do. Anything that improves your own talents; nobody can tax it or take it away from you. They can run up huge deficits and the dollar can become worth far less. You can have all kinds of things happen. But if you’ve got talent yourself, and you’ve maximized your talent, you’ve got a tremendous asset that can return ten-fold

‘Invest in yourself’ might mean taking a continuing education class or simply spending your time improving your skills. Become a lifelong learner and your life will be wealthier, perhaps in more ways than one.”

Jim Rohn Share the Secret of Self Development

It isn’t what happened that will determine the major part of your future. What happened to you happens to all of us. The key is what you do about it.

If you would start that process of change – Do something different the next 90 days than the last 90 days, no matter how small. You will do different things with the same circumstances since we cannot change the circumstances, but we can change ourselves. We can change what we do.

What you have at the moment is attracted by the person that you have become. It is very simple to change all of these. If you will change, everything will change for you. You don’t have to change whatever is outside. You only have to change what is on the inside. To have more, you simply have to become more.

Don’t wish that it was easier. Wish that you are better. Don’t wish for lesser problems. Wish for more skills. Start working on yourself, making all these changes.

You get paid for bringing value to the marketplace (reality). It takes time to bring value to the marketplace but we don’t get paid for time. You get paid for the value that you put in the time. If that is true, is it possible to become more valuable and make more money in the same time? Yes, of course. The whole scenario of life is to start and become more valuable.

You can’t get rich by demand. It is easier to develop yourself and become more valuable (to the marketplace) rather than wait for a raise.

The secret is to learn to work harder on yourself than you do on your job. If you work hard on your job, you make a living. If you work hard on yourself, you can make a fortune.
